The Clearwave Mini is the latest product offering in our monitor range of loudspeakers. Don't let the small size fool you. They play like no stand mounted speaker has any right to-- that is, like a much larger floorstander. While its name pays tribute to the first Symphonia 7R, it is a modern technical wonder where we set out to achieve a speaker that will reveal the most intimate details in your recordings.
We feel this speaker is even better than its predecessor due to the upgraded custom Ceramic dome tweeter as well as other refinements made in the crossover. Bass and imaging is outstanding. Lets start with the drivers. We are using the amazing sounding and latest generation Accuton woofer with resonance control dots to damp unwanted cone peaks beyond the crossover point. The transition to the 1" inverted ceramic Cell dome tweeter with under-hung voice coil is seamless, and here we are using only premium parts in the signal path. The crossovers are hand wired using top tier pure copper wiring with a special coating to prevent oxidation that could degrade sound decades from now. Best of all, this speaker has gone through many refinements, and we built it so that each design consideration was refined to its fullest potential. This is evident from the hand crafted sloped front baffle for low diffraction and phase alignment, the point to point soldered crossovers, to the carefully selected and matched transducers.
